Some Other Girl – Inspired by S. Pozhlakov’s and R. Rozhdestvensky’s ‘Why Did I Have That Dream?’ – by Vesper Lynd and Frank Garvey

Some Other Girl4

Again… I told you about it –

I’ve seen you with some other girl…

My dream was a pure torture –

A chain of Mermaid’s curls…

Some Other Girl8

I dreamed of the taste of the ocean,

I dreamed of your sultry lips…

And there was that mermaid, she sauntered beside you

Ready to swoon at your feet…

Some Other Girl23

The sound of surf was so loud

The water was heavy and wild

She plastered against you so easy

And why should I watch that, oh why?

Mermaid Drawing

The mermaid linquered beside you

You seemed to be quite at ease

If any of this isn’t true

Then why did I see that dream?

Some Other Girl5

The ocean was salty and messy

The seaweed – all over the shore…

The siren was brazen and flagrant,

But your eyes were asking for more…

Some Other Girl3

I dreamed of the taste of the ocean

I dreamed of your sultry lips…

A there was that mermaid, she sauntered beside you

Ready to swoon at your feet…

Some Other Girl9c

My last night was very much sleepless

I stared at the ceiling above…

At sunrise I went for a walk on the beach…

Where the Ocean was screaming:

‘Love…!’

Some Other Girl

I walked on the sand, threw the rocks on the beach…

And the ocean was screaming:

‘Love!..  Love! .. Love!..

Love!… Love!… Love…’
